Red Swan
02–18–2024
Set in a dreamlike, overexposed world, Red Swan captures the silent encounter between a pale, eyeless figure and a vivid crimson swan. The woman's body, pure white and unreal, becomes a canvas for the swan's shadow. Deep voids replace her eyes, a dark pearl falls from above, and green plants curl from her ears—life emerging from stillness.
This piece explores identity as absence and presence, and the quiet impact of external forces. The swan, a symbol of memory or transformation, brushes against the figure’s emptiness, imprinting meaning without words. In this surreal space, perception fades, but connection leaves a trace.
