Project 1House-Tree-Person09-01-2024 - Now
House Tree Person is a graffitti drawing series inspired by the House-Tree-Person (HTP) test, a widely-used projective psychological assessment first introduced by Buck in 1948. Based on the principle that drawing can reflect the inner workings of the mind, the HTP test examines how individuals depict three key elements: a house, a tree, and a person. These elements are believed to provide insight into a person’s psychological state, personality, and emotions.
In this series, I explore the exaggeration and transformation of these three elements to delve deeper into their symbolic and psychological significance. By experimenting with composition, scale, and materials, I aim to highlight the subtle variations in how these elements are expressed and perceived. Through this exploration, I seek to evoke a conversation about the complexities of inner identity and the ways we visually manifest our mental landscapes.
