False Space is an ongoing illustration series that narrates the journeys of two characters traveling through their dreams, ultimately leading to their encounter. The story is inspired by a groundbreaking event in October 2024, when REMspace, a Bay Area startup specializing in lucid dreaming and sleep enhancement, achieved the first successful communication between people in their dreams.
Through the depiction of surreal and fantastical environments inhabited by the two protagonists, the series aims to create a liminal space that feels both real and illusory.
